My First Letter Pronounce Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-18

This policy explains what My First Letter Pronounce ("the app"), developed by CodeHunter, collects. The app is designed for young children, and this policy matches the app's Data safety section on Google Play.

The short version

Data stored on the device

DataWhyLeaves the device?
Child's nickname and avatar choiceShow the right progress for each childNo
Answers, response times and learned lettersChoose what to practise next and find letters that need extra workNo

Answer history older than 90 days is deleted automatically.

Crash reports

The app may use Google Firebase Crashlytics to send crash reports: the app version, device model, Android version, the technical details of the crash, and a random installation identifier used only to group reports. Crash reports contain no name, nickname, answers or contact details, are not used for advertising, are not shared with anyone else, and are encrypted in transit. Google keeps them for 90 days.

Permissions

The app does not ask for any special permissions: no location, camera, microphone, contacts or storage access. Internet access is used only for crash reports.

Children's privacy

The app is directed at children and follows Google Play's Families policy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the app has no chat, sharing or links out of the app for children. Settings and any links leave the app only through a grown-ups check.

Deleting data

Because progress never leaves the device, you control it fully: clear the app's storage in Android Settings → Apps, or uninstall the app. There is no account to delete.

Changes

If we add a feature that changes what is collected (for example optional cloud backup for parents), we will update this policy and the Data safety section before it ships.
